BINGO! I think they know there will be issues, but they are being pro-active about it.

It's the best approach to take. They already have a patch coming for Day 1 and they probably learned from the GTA Online launch last year.

Taken at face value, it seems Rockstar is prepared to bend over backwards to address issues with Online as they arise. They are 100% certainly aware of the massive problems with other games by other developers ever since this generation began a year ago.

Not going to attempt to log onto GTA Online for the first few days because I already know it's going to be a mess again, and I don't want any possibility of screwing up my transferred character.

That's currently my fear right now. I will just let my fiancée take her time to beat the story mode again and then go online.

I have like 1.2mil, some nice cars, an amazing apartment and a lot of good weapons for a level 80ish. I hope they added more apartments and customization.

haven't played in months! sold my ps3 (and games) when this was announced for PS4. the only reason i kept my ps3 when i got a ps4 was to play V. kinda needed this break...i totally burnt myself out on the game.

can't wait to go back to los santos! i don't care about online issues. i'll be taking my time to go through the single player (again). i'll be going a lot slower than last year. played through the story 2 times in 3 days. once online calms down then i'll jump on and get into that.

I'm in the UK too. I traded my copy in at Amazon a few months ago when they were still offering £20. Now they're only offering a tenner.

I can see many publishers in the future copy and paste Rockstar's preemptive Damage control PR release.

Rockstar is really going to do it aren't they...they will sell the almost the same millions as their last gen version...maybe 70% of the sales? Insane!

I got it for the PS3 and it was almost unplayable for me. Mostly because of the atrocious load time. I would go from playing single player to online and boy that loading time going back and forth was bruuuutal.

I hope shit like that is improved. If so I might think about getting this on PC.

I'd love to play this game on my Xbone but... full price? Nope. I completed the last gen version (98,8% after 50 hours) so there's not enough new content for (me.) 70€.
