I turn off my HUD and mini-map when i want to have a more cinematic experience. When i roll around in GTAO with my buddies i always turn them off. When on missions i turn them on again.

I've done a few missions with Trevor and now I need $150,000 to buy a hangar but I don't have enough. How hard is it to earn money in this game?
You sure you absolutely have to? I think i know what you're talking about and that hangar isn't a must to own, the game just let's you know that you Can buy it - if you want to.

First, Trevor should start with a decent wad of cash... Somewhere around that amount. But you don't need to buy that hanger, you just have the option to... It's a set of side missions for making money with Trevor.

Yeah I do that for everything now, even story missions.
Makes missions like Minor Turbulence or Caida Libra so gorgoeus.

Thank you! We recorded maybe 5+ hours worth of footage (maybe a little more including shareplay on Ray's PS4).
Most of it was dedicated to knocking the crap out of people, but there were some deviations with Gaming Age Family crew and some online activities / missions as well that may fit into another video down the line, including a dissection of all the technology running concurrently within GTA V. That'll be after the Driveclub dissection, though.

Anyone have their display and or control settings reset to default on startup? I've read it happening before but I thought it was fixed. Booted up GTA V today and it asked me to adjust brightness. Checked settings after save loaded and sure enough, all my controls were set back to default.

That randomly happens to me also. I've heard quitting the game (closing the application) and reopening resets it all, but that hasn't had the best success rate, and it's a pain to do.
Odd. Well, I changed everything back myself. A bit annoying. I had to sign the EULA and other policies again when going into Online but that may be unrelated. I hadn't been online since around launch so maybe something was updated since then.
Now that I've finished story again, I need to mess around with the stock market.

If it happens again (you'll know because it asks you to adjust your brightness), just quit the application and boot it back up. That will prevent all of your settings from being reset.
Well, until the next time it happens. Lol. It's happened four times to me.

Not really, Michael is the biggest piece of shit in the game, I'm sure he is written to be hated. He switches between narcissistic and self loathing so many times, and is just a hopeless fuck in general.
Trevor is funny but more psychopathic and murderous than I think any GTA character ever, did any other protagonist murder and abuse innocent NPCs as canon? I never really liked that.
Franklin is the most likeable character because he's humble and down to earth, in some ways it seems like he is supposed to be the 'main' character, so this perhaps makes sense.
But yeah, IMO you're shit out of luck if you want really likable main characters. The closest I've come to liking any main character in the franchise is Luis from BOTG.

I am incredibly tempted to triple dip this game right now hah. Bought PS3 day 1, have PC on reserve and payed for. Just got a PS4 last week and will be getting a new TV soon and would love to have it on the big screen and to play with some friends.

I feel the same way. First play through, I was really entertained by Trevor's depth and contradictions... THings like he'd go on some murderous rampage and then rip someone apart for using the word "bitch" 'because that "bitch" is someone's mother.' But, now that I already knew that about Trevor, his relationship with Michael just annoys me. Their relationship in general does.

For some reason after collecting all 50 spaceship parts, the trophy "From Beyond the Stars" didn't appear for me. Is there a way around this? I didn't have any cheat codes on with me.
I think the proposed solution has been to quit the game, turn off your internet, and boot up again.

I am Michael's age IRL so I relate to him, even though my life circumstances are nothing like his - per se. He reminds me of people I knew in high school and college who were out-of-control in their younger days and are trying to make sense of it all moving forward in their 40s.

No it's own thread worthy (IMO) but it looks like GTA V has a launch profile in the latest NVIDIA drivers.
GTA V has appeared in NVIDIA and AMD drivers in the past but they were referencing things like "gta5_beta.exe", "game_win64_beta.exe" and other apparently dev builds.

I think if you are in first person when you are picking her up, it still wokrs, not sure about it.
Well, try disabling your network connection and start the game, there are many glitch trophies.
Ended up buying GTAV for PS4 too even though I was supposed to wait for the PC version. Gonna triple dip when it's out I think.
Motherfucker first person police chases are some intense shit. Probably not even gonna do much of the story, I'll just play till I can get some money (how? I have no idea), buy a lot of weapons and go crazy in FP mode

You're going to have to do a lot of story missions if you want a lot of money. I have no idea if the stock market is open after you've completed the prologue, but if that doesn't work you could work extra as a cab driver i guess.
