PS owners get a better deal than the Xbox deal already posted. This is the full game (story + online) and you don't need to be PS+ to get the deal (you do need PS+ to play GTA Online though).

The game is still somewhat hidden on the store and won't show up in a search, to find it simply go the the store on your PS5 and scroll all the way to the end of the pre-order row and pick "View all", you fill find it listed there. I wasn't planning to triple dip but at this price I probably will (Update: I did).

Preload is 87GB.

EDIT: You can also upload your PS4 save to Rockstar right now and then download it to the PS5 version when it goes live. While in the single player, pause the game and go to the "Game" tab and the bottom option will be to upload your save.

As I said it doesn't show up in a seach so i don't have a link. They could easily charge full price so I think this deal is a fair compromise tbh. Did people bitch to disney about getting a free upgrade to DVDs for their VHS purchases or to Blu-ray for their DVD purchases? No, Disney charged full price and people rebought them. I'm not saying I condone, just telling it how it is.

I think it's because of GTA online. On ps5 sony already had a deal with rockstar for it to be free. On xbox you pay for story+online while on ps5 it's essentially only story mode you pay for.
