Guild Wars 2 Beta Signup up (will last 48hours)

That makes no sense... but no worries. Everyone will get in, probably the last weekend before release at least. Thats what they did for all their other chapters in Guild Wars, I see no reason for them to change that.
And even if we got them, we wouldn't be allowed to tell.
Eh? Nothing stops us from saying "i got invited in the beta!".
Well, after no confirmation for 7 hours I did everything over again with the googlemail trick (I had no idea there was even a resend page), and got a confirmation instantly. Now I just got a confirmation on my original submission, but inexplicably postmarked for the time I originally sent it. Oh well, I assume they'll just ignore the duplicate.

I signed up about after it went up yesterday and still haven't received confirmation. Tried reapplying with a different email address later that night and still no reply on that either. Ended up creating a gmail account this morning and got a reply instantly.
The first two that never got confirmation were @bellsouth.net for those curious.

I heard you need to use whatever@googlemail.com, but since I am an idiot I forgot and just used @gmail.com

What the fuck is this, I dreamed that I got a confirmation e-mail, went through a damn confirmation page and downloaded the client. I need to get better stuff to dream about. I sat there for what felt like 45 minutes in the dream too, installing and fixing shit, then honestly woke up and was surprised at neither finding the client shortcut nor the mail in my inbox. 
When people say they've gotten their confirmation e-mails, are they talking about just the "Thanks for signing up!" one or something more than that?

Its just the 'thanks for signing up' mail.
I hope not. If i get into beta, i won't be playing because of Mass Effect 3. I will go with end of march for the first beta weekend.
