Hoping for improvements to the UI, lobby, and overall damage personally. I won't be buying the game yet unless there's some significant changes from the beta.
 
But they knew the lobbies sucked from the first beta so long ago. Doesn't make much sense honestly. But it's their game. They can do whatever they want.

It sure is for the better to polish the game and release it in a better state.
They can have all the time they want. This will give me time to play other games.

Still sad.
 
Hopefully they use the time to RIP out the chibi online tower thing and replace it with a regular menu.

The Tower isn't a bad concept, it's novel for sure but no inherently bad, just not well executed. I like the idea of the 10th floor and 11th floor having something akin to gatekeeping. It can be toxic, but only the best of the best can stay (sadly enough, I ain't in this group yet hahaha).

What made me furious about it was the implementation, all the menus (even the customizable wheel wasn't good) were slow and had a lag on startup, with the worst offender being the HOLD TO ENTER BATTLE STANCE. That shit can go crash and burn, especially being reallocated to a random spot after reading for battle. Then they go a mile further by forcing people to walk to different players in the room so you can challenge them, not letting people group up in one spot to fight each other.

Arksys insisted on this shit lobby system, but if they will double down on it they better improve it. LET THE PLAYERS WALK FREELY IN THE LOBBY SPACE AND GIVE THEM A SINGLE PRESS OF A BUTTON TO CHALLENGE ANOTHER PLAYER! Is that hard to do? Idk, but programming-wise it shouldn't that bad, not compared to scrapping all the lobby system.

About the Quick match and rematch options, I think they mentioned it being available at launch. So let's pray for it. I just don't want the lobby to kill the ranked experience, that'd be a tragedy.

Like someone else said, that's one day after the FF7 remake.
I got hyped and preordered it but oh well
 
A beta that ended up being a real beta and the dev making changes on the game based on feedback, a Christmas miracle honestly.
I hope launch goes smoothly, seems like June is a crowded month.
 
Arcsys lobby systems in their all of there fighters are just stupid. We dont need chibi characters walking around. Just give us a fucking menu.

It's all just a layer of janky fluff between the player and the game. It's not needed.
 
I understand but at same time i'm going through withdrawal because loved Giovanna's 6P and i've been having an urge to pop people with it ever since the beta ended;(

Amazing how much better it looks without those offensive ON1E TW2O TH3REE giant combo counts and ugly UI.

Anyways, I hate I-No's new design compared to her past designs, it's like she was put in a hydrolic press and is now stumpy and wide. And I even usually like wide hips on girl characters.

Anji looks great though, and his kit looks like it flows together well. I will definitely give him a try at the next chance (hopefully beta round 2).
