Got mine and predownload through PSapp. I didn't see it on PS4's PStore then again the way it is set up is pretty garbage tbf.

Gotta go to bed, already played like an hour or so. Online feels amazing, lobbies are shit as always...at least there is a quick match option on the main menu.
Ky feels like riding a bike, the basic strings are all there, you just have to figure out the combos and stuff.

I played this morning a bit and now going back to it now and can't connect to the game (R-Code error message over and over), i see some other have same thing. Remind me of SFV launch, hopefully things like this won't happen in the beta, but outside of that the game looks neat and fun to play.

I kinda hope they patch the shit out of it before release, there are some really cool shit already been discovered, they is a weir wave dash like thingy using faultless defense and crouch cancel i think and lost of characters have infinite combos.

I don't know if I like Sol's new moves. Some of them are great, but his moves don't flow like they use to. It's probably worse than when Jin Kazama changed to his karate style versus Mishima style. His pick ups are way different. Slash, hard slash, qcf + k is like the only combo I like. I use to love playing as Sol. I'm not a huge fan of breaking the stage. While that does possibly help reduce combo loops, it reminds me of Injustice.I have liked playing as Sol, but I feel like it's pushing me to play as someone else in Strive. Maybe I'm just not seeing the potential yet.

There's probably an extra hit box near the ground on Ram's super and Chipp's Gamma Blade seems to put him in prime position for an ass whooping (aka a 'clean hit', when all the damage hit boxes connect on a character).

Is everyone having network connection issues? I spent a bit last night and this morning trying to load the demo (PS5 wired connection) and I constantly get network connection errors. Everything else on the PS5 is fine, but Strive will not load past the first fire initial screens.

^I've been getting network errors but it happens very seldomly. The beta is down rn I believe.
When Chipp's gamma blade clone is thrown out, you can hit it and Chipp will receive damage. So what essentially happens here is that he receive double the damage. They did Chipp pretty dirty.

Whenever I can play, it's great. Part of the reason I couldn't play before is because of the outages here. Only to be met with servers being down when I do have lights sometimes lol. Yeah lobby is terrible of course, I just search matches during training(which funny enough sends your character to the lobby from what I thought I saw). Needless to say the rollback netcode is great even on my poor connection so i'm happy. Played 7 matches with Giovanna, mashing of course lol. I didn't spend more than 5 minutes at a time in training mode(learned a little bit of course) because I knew the lights could go out at anytime and I wanted to at least experience what online matches were like.

Yeah... either they grossly underestimated demand or are having a massive infrastructure failure on their end. Game seems cool, but haven't been able to get into a single online match. Even got kicked from playing against the CPU.
