Also, if and when Maxi Boost drops for PS4, we'll be needing Japanese/Asia PS+ to play online. This doesn't bode well for American/European players...seems to me Full Boost is the last "free online" (despite needing the online pass) game we'll get.

Oh, yeah. But like you say, I'll believe they region lock the servers when it happens, no reason to panic early. It seems like Yosp is playing bloodborne cross region so I'm not going to assume anything bad.
