You heard - Habbo Hotel as you knew and loved it way back in 2005 launches today. Pool's closed, falling furni, all that.
It's brand new accounts with names on a first-come-first-served basis and I think they'll Tweet from the https://x.com/Habbo when it's available.

I spent many, many, many a night chatting away in the hotel as a kid before I got into Runescape. Used to spend a lot of what little phone credit I had on Habbo Club and furni and even ended up meeting two of the girls I met there in real life
Logged back into the old account today to find my 19 year old virtual dog in my room - for context, I'm 31 now, that virtual dog's more than half my lifetime old. Apparently gambling will be bannable which is a shame but I think I'm gonna make an account with my old username and see if anyone I know pops up.
