Here is the new trailer for .hack that debuted at the show yesterday. Bandai's site is being HAMMERED right now - took me about an hour to get a connection to their streaming server. I saved the streaming movie locally and uploaded the completed file to my own server, so you can just download it directly and avoid the mess over at Bandai Japan.
PLEASE do not stream directly from my server!!
Right-click/save before watching. I have a lot of bandwidth to spare, but not unlimited, so please don't pass this link around outside of GAF, either. Thanks!
.hack//G.U. TGS 2005 Trailer
I think the game looks fucking great--that's ALL real-time, and if you ask me, the art style and shading is way better than Rogue Galaxy's real-time stuff. The team seems to have taken criticism of the first series to heart and is working on streamlining this trilogy into a denser, exciting, and evolving story that loses some of the meandering fluff of the first one and focuses more on the real-cyber world interaction that the first one sort of glossed over (though it was explored in-depth in the anime). They learned a lot from the first .hack project (both its implementation and its reception) and G.U. looks like it's gonna be the game everyone was hoping for all along. I'm super hyped. GO CYBERCONNECT2 WOO WOO!
