In the last few days I've gotten 3 different notifications of failed log in attempts. My hotmail account shows 3 login attempts from NYC and 1 from Russia. I got an email(could be a phishing scam) from Twitter saying password was changed and my account was reactivated but it wasn't. My account was reactivated though nothing had been changed. The last thing was an email tonight from a random web forum that 5 login attempts had failed from IP address 117.169.1.57. Looking it up shows a bunch of random email accounts from China.

So think this is just a bunch of random events or should I be investing in a password manager and watching my shit daily?

Change your password.

Most likely is just typical spam emails and failed logins with old info.

I use different passwords for most sites or at least important ones. Getting all those emails in a short time makes you pretty paranoid.

Get KeePass and never look back.
