It's a Switch 2 game so many are actively ignoring it.A 94 MC sequel of a loved game does not have a OT?
It isn't imho. Other roguelites and roguelikes are mediocre and don't give you enough incentives or upgrades. Some of them do, but I would argue that is partly because of Hades.I'll never understand why hades 1 was so well reviewed, it seems pretty bang average![]()
Looks like it!does it have cross save across platforms? So I can buy Switch 2 and Steam?
Cross-Saves w/ Nintendo Switch and PC
Among the additions coming in v1.0, Hades II offers cross-saves between the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions, and the Steam and the Epic Games Store versions. If you've been playing in Early Access and wish to continue the journey on Nintendo's game consoles, you'll be able to transfer your save data through a simple in-game menu.
You're welcome! Enjoy!Yusssss! That's two copies sold to me!
Thx man!
I dont like roguelikes, should I still play it? Guide me papitos
What's more fresh and new than E33. Didn't you know they invented a whole new genre and a whole new fresh battle system that's totally never been done before ever?idk why people claiming this is GOTY when its been in a playable state for over a year now, We all know DK is the only fresh new title that came out this year that had fun gameplay. everything else has just been hype by indie cucks.
It's not a genre a play massively but I far far preferred both returnal and rogue legacy. Edit and Prey: moonshot, oh and death loop. All were much more enjoyable. It isn't imho. Hades has good story and is just very well done. It's like saying Expedition 33 is a bang average jrpg. What rogueslites you been playing that Hades is the average?

Funny that we have so many PC people here and there is not an OT though, but one big reason is that people don't want to give the Switch a huge win, which this is. It also did a long period of early access so maybe it is old news to some PC folks, though 1.0 should bring them back.
Maybe there is an OT and I just haven't seen it.
Going to search right now. Has good steam metadata so nothing shocking here:
Ahhhh, I was going to hold off on this game but it's super tempting to pick it up right away…
Wait wait wait. I can go buy NS2 and pick up my stream progress?
It works, I tried it.Wait wait wait. I can go buy NS2 and pick up my stream progress?
Has anyone tested this?
If so I'll double dip tomorrow. That's an amazing feature if true.
I thought the same and i still prefer zagreus dashes but you get used after a while.I utterly despise the sprint change. It's singlehandedly hampering what is otherwise an incredible game. Despite that, I've been playing all day and loving the game.
It has atleast double the content of Hades 1 . There are 2 complete paths this time and they are just as long if not longer than the 1 path of Hades 1.Waiting for a console release but I'm curious if the 1.0 of Hades II has just as much content as the first Hades had when it launched on console? Hades was my GOTY but that's because the game was complete & included an extended epilogue. Not the kind if game I'd want to wait for updates for if they plan on updating the games story etc past 1.0.
2 things I like that they improved on.
Now you can not only re roll your reward giver but now also reroll the rewards them selves. The dice are also easier and earlier to unlock for rerolls.
Secondly the adaptive difficulty. The first game had this a bit too but this time if you get a OP build early the game sometimes throws A Fing Shit tonne of enemies at you even in the earlier stages, where you are like Holy shit what the F was that!
Hades 2 in early access already had more content than hades 1.0 dude, i think it's safe to say that hades 2 1.0 absolutely dwarf hades 1.0.Waiting for a console release but I'm curious if the 1.0 of Hades II has just as much content as the first Hades had when it launched on console? I am, was the same. Dropped off Hades and all rogue games pretty quickly. But for some unfathomable reason I couldn't stop playing Returnal. I beat it and loved it to bits - a masterpiece. Since then I'm back at dropping rouge games very quickly. It's strange how some games just grip you to your core. I think i will give Hades 2 a try at some point, but I don't expect much.I'm like you, I gave the first one a shot, played a few enjoyable runs, then remembered that no, definitely no, I don't like rogue-likes and never will.
I had 7 hours in the first build of early access. Now that I started the game again from scratch I found it easy to make huge progress. I made it to the final boss of the downwards path in maybe my fifth run!I already played like 20 hours of the early access long time ago and i kinda wanna restart from scratch but there is a risk of burn out...

You might be more after exploring a world. Games like Hades are more about creating a optimised build for your character.I really wish I could have this sort of divine revelation, and maybe I will in the future.
But so far, something doesn't sit right with me if the world is generated procedurally; it feels like nothing matter, I'm not immersed because I'm clearly in a "videogame" if that makes any sense.
One of my favorite gaming memory was realizing how interconnected the world was in Dark Souls 1. My favorite game of the last 10 years is rain world, another very interconnected environment.
Procedural environments just cannot give me what I'm after, so far.
Wait, what? You just bind attack to left trigger and hold it down?I love the added auto attack bind when holding left trigger on controller. Carpal tunnel preventers rock.
I think it is a default setting: pull down left trigger and you do the standard attack and special combos over and over again by just holding down the correspondent button.Wait, what? You just bind attack to left trigger and hold it down?
