so I'm reading a thread, and I get to the bottom, and notice to my suprise that Mod Forum is now listed next to Off Topic.

After a second of "WTF, I'm a mod now?" I went to click it, only to find it wasn't a link at all, but rather plain text.

Good prank guys.

I'm not going crazy. They changed stuff a little bit this morning.

Instead of just saying "Gaming | Off-Topic", it now says "Gaming | Online | Off-Topic", and there were some issues a bit ago with those being in the middle, instead of aligned to the right.

In the midst of it, Mod Forum was visible, but not as black text rather than a link.

It's probably just Wasabiking making some fixes but if you want to come off as paranoid and delusional you're doing a good job.
