Nobody ruins my family vacation but me...and maybe the boy!
Whenever I come out of the shower my hair is always frizzy and dry, anybody know how to make it unfrizzy? Any help would be appreciated

Get dry/frizzy hair conditioner. A shampoo may also help. You can also use styling products that dont try out the hair much.

If you still have problems there are special Frizz products aimed at you like Frizzease.

I'll second the suggestion to shampoo every other day, but that might not be the only problem. What's your diet like? The food you consume is directly related to the condtion of a persons hair and skin. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables along with lean sources of protein. You may also want to consult a local health food store to see if they carry biotin, a vitamin associated with improving the health of hair and skin.

Not only should you use a conditioner everyday, but I also used a different shampoo/conditioner everyday. I use about five different brands and just rotate them daily. Also when conditioning:

1. Wet hair with warm water.
2. Shampoo.
3. Rinse with cool water.
4. Fill bottom of palm with conditioner.
5. Work conditioner from one inch from the roots to the ends of your hair.
6. Leave conditioner in for about 5-10 minutes.
7. Rinse with cool water.

Here are the products I have in my bathroom:

And also some salon shampoos/conditioners I can't find pictures of. O_O
Of course this process is easier if you shower. Good luck.

No. Infact his problem is probably perpetuated by shampooing and conditioning too often.

Well, I do shampoo every second day (unless I get very sweaty that day) but i'll try some of the suggestions in this topic. By the way, is hair oil any good? What about putting a little bit of Olive oil (I don't like the smell though)?

Brylcreem is mostly oil and is designed for hair, without the shitty smell of olive oil.

I've always had dry hair since about High school. I used to heat blow dry every day until about a week ago until I realized that obviously was part of that problem.

This thread got me thinking. I put a bunch of olive oil on my hair yesterday for several hours (just studying and browsing the net so the smell wasn't a social issue).

And I'm noticing results. I dunno if some of the oil has temporarily soaked in or what. I'm hoping it's more permanent than that.

Just dont wash it except like once a week or so.. Or after you get done sweating a lot. the more you shampoo it the more detergents you will have in your hair to dry it out.

I use olive oil conditioner everyday and it works really well and i had some of the frizziest hair out there. You might also want to get just a bit of product to rub in there while its damp, then dry it with a towel. That should do the trick.

My hair is like straw, and no shampoos or in-shower conditioners have ever made much difference, but two things I've found help: Aussie Dual Personality Leave-In Conditioner/Mousse and Tresemmé Restore leave-in conditioner.

The Aussie stuff is better if I have to blow dry my hair, whereas the Tresemmé is better if I'm going to just work it in and go. I'd agree with the washing advice, too; I only wash it twice a week and use conditioner in the shower on a regular basis. My hair's still got a disappointingly 'flat' look (no shine) as it always has, so I'll have to see about finding something else to fix that. :)

My hair isn't frizzy per se, but it just looks like a mess when it's not geled/glued, and combing it hardly works. I'm fine using hair glue these days, but sometimes I wish it looked fashionable when dry. Any tips? =/

Post pics!

I was thinking maybe blow dry your hair, use straightening gel (I think that's what it's called) and then straighten your hair with an iron. At least that's what the lady did to my hair in my avatar and it came out looking really really nice.

Straightening your hair like that is only good until it gets wet.

you are in six commercials at once!

that much hair stuff is ludicrous, even for a woman. Although, in a flat of 4 girls, I once counted about 30 shampoo bottles.
