Alright, just re-installed HL2 for that Eclipse mod which is interesting...

and I am now interested and downloading more mods/total conversions..whatever

Any sites and can anybody recommend any good specific ones?

or is HL2's modding not as extensive as Unreal tournaments?

It was originally on BF1942 but they switched it over to HL2. it should be awesome if they can pull it off

I've been kickin it with The Hidden the past 2 days. Pretty fun, but not perfect. It's not completely stable and I think there's some issues with the 'hidden' not being visible enough.

i googled half life mods and got takin to all these wierd sites, none that was just a good site with easy to access downloads and figured someone might know a certain site in particular.

i mean damn.

that site has a list of a lot of stuff. (including a Resident Evil mod, a GOldeneye mod, and a Warhammer 40k that may or may not ever make it out.)

i havent tried any of the released ones yet.

i wish i could remember the name of the one im looking forward to (someone refresh my memory). it is a Source update or redo of a Half Life mod.

Natural Selection! yes, possibly. im confused now. there are two of them apparently.

Natural Selection being one of them, and the other i cant remember...

i forget which is supposed to be the better of the two (up for debate maybe).

tfc = Team Fortress Classic.

For the first half life but a really good ctf mod.

yeah i was WAY late to the HL party (only just got a decent PC this year). never played any of the Team Fortress games.

also, i got the crappy retail HL2 package, so i dont get any of the original HL games or mods. :/
