Portal 2 was as perfect of a game as they come. It may even be a tougher act to follow than Half Life 2.
You just changed your affirmation that he's talking about "half life 3 is closing for years" to he's talking about "half life 3 for years"
The two things are not the same, his channel is about valve so of course he talked about half life 3

I am not sure what your problem is, but he's been hyping the next big Half-Life game up for years based on almost nothing. And every time he gets people with it, and it has become tiresome. And he also has been talking about what he now calls HLX for more than a year now.
I've been on this fucking ride since 2007 when that shit was still called Episode 3. And in the beginning, I was actually a fan of his channel.

Tyler sucks. Gabefollower is the only person I follow for actual valve leaks/news.

Dude has been talking about the next big Half-Life game and its "leaks" for more than a year now. Only that it now has a codename that is apparently "HLX", which it did not have before. And that conversation essentially started even during the early days of his channel when we all thought we will get Episode 3 at some point. And that is my point and my criticism. And ever since that "codename" "leaked", he's been getting more obnoxious than ever.
Everyone was talking about half life episode 3 at the time, that's not what you said, you said that he has been hyping the next half life FOR YEARS, that hasn't happen at all
He has been talking about the next half life for over one year now and he hasn't been the only one
I really don't understand why you guys on the forums few this need to deny that those insiders DO have information, same thing happens a lot with dusk golem in relation to horror games
You don't need to like the guy or to agree on everything with them, i have been blocked by Jason schreier in everything, i have been on Twitter discussions with golem and i don't like what Tyler thinks about politics but i would never deny that they have insider information

Before they work on Half-Life 3, it would make way more sense for Valve to work on Half-Life Alyx 2 to be released along a new headset.
Except that Tyler McVicker is NOT an insider, he just sifts through assets already released; just like the people going through Apple's iOS files searching for device ID's of not yet released hardware.

Valve themselves admit they have been working on getting a Half-Life sequel out since 2007, first in the form of Episode 3 and then in the form of Half-Life 3. The issue is with Valve never finishing anything, not with Tyler. Half-Life: Alyx was leaked in the same way, as HLVR, but it was the one Half-Life project Valve were able to finish.

Yeah, but at least Gabe has stopped teasing it at some point. Like, he straight up stopped even wanting to talk about it. Which I can appreciate. They should just drop it when it's done. No teasing, no announcement of an announcement or stuff like this.
