Is the game still just single player and pvp? No pve multiplayer (think it was warzone firefight) like the last halo's. That was my fave mode in halo 5. I completed this last year and being waiting on it to return.

Infinite's campaign is dogshit but maybe it'd be more fun in co-op. I probably won't even bother with it though. Too little too late for me.

I will likely play the coop with some friends. The story/narrative of the game was pretty much ballsack. However, the gameplay loop was really fun. It did get boring after a while since it was repetitive. Just kept it interesting with making new ways to take out points with enemies. My creativity is ultimately what kept it fun until the end. Which the game positions you to take most situations however you want to.

Put it this way there's a reason it's not out yet, honestly I would assume its some player hashed mod looking at the way the coop partner glides around the floor not even looking at where there shooting.

So I never played Co-Op Halo, but how's it work?
Seems like it's the same game, but after the cutscenes play, other people just show up on your map. Should be fun in the open-world, but is it not weird that it's the whole Campaign? I haven't played Infinite and have only SPed Halo games but it feels odd that bearded guy is like, "I can't believe you made it!" in a scenario where there should be no other survivors, then all the sudden a couple other dudes show up who just did the same impossible thing.
That's sort of what I was wondering, if this was a hack of the game made to look like official co-op but not the actual patch? It looked technically hitchy like you said and then as I said the storytelling was disconnected (though maybe that's just how it works... I know Halo 3 actually had Chief and Arbiter together a lot and so it made sense there but otherwise I don't know how Halo Co-Op is supposed to function?) This felt like something that had minimal implementation care put to it (though I'm admittedly going off of a video I'm skipping through of a game I didn't play yet) so I don't really get what's taking so long to deliver.

My save file corrupted on the last mission of the game, the campaign is not good enough for me to want replay it alone but might when coop finally releases

It astounds me they didn't have this at launch. If they thought it was too glitchy or the performance was bad, well guess what, so was everything about this thing.

This looks about as bad as I was expecting. PvP Multiplayer is broken at a fundamental product-does-not-actually-work level, and 343i appears to be incapable of fixing it or identifying why. I really can't wait to see how broken co-op really is once it gets into the hands of real players.
