Sounds like you're just bad with the DMR. doesnt make the game bad.
Sure perhaps, but I'm more referring the the DMR being inconsistent, which frankly I did a horrible job of trying to communicate.
I never had this trouble with the battle rifle in Halo 3, and it's frustrating. With the DMR, I'll run into multiple situations with the exact same person and sometimes I'll win, or he'll win, despite me out playing him most of the time.
With 3's BR, I'd get some shots to the head or whatever, maybe beating the opponent down when he AR/rushes me, throw a grenade, whatever. Whatever the case, I'm always in control of the situation. Whichever one of us controls the situation better should and does usually come out on top. That's how a shooter, or at least a Halo, game should be. With Reach's precision weapon, I might win, or I might not. In Reach, I'm not really in control of the situation. It seems very luck-of-the-draw.
I'll be the first to say I'm not the best at halo or any competitive fps, but Reach kept leaving me feeling cheated.
welcome! can't wait to read more!!!
I said I don't own reach, so therefore my experience (in multiplayer) is limited to the demo... Is that a problem?
I think in the back of my mind I was actually hoping somebody could tell me the real game is better than the demo...
Uhhh, there's a multiplayer demo for halo reach?
Um...yes. It's all one demo.
