IDK if this is good or bad?
All I get here in NY is NYCC and everyone knows it's just SDCC leftovers. 343 was here last year, but Frankie was notably absent. I shed man tears not being able to bask in his balding wisdom.
With Halo 4 practically at the start of November and Comic Con being Oct 11-14 is there any chance we will see you Frank or any of the gang members to talk about the game? maybe even get to play it? (Just kidding the lines last year to play Anniversary maps were insane)

(I really don't understand the collectibles stuff. I dunno what switch deadened me inside but I have no desire for Halo action figures, et al. It's all about media. The only toys I've got left are the army men and blocks my dad made for us when I was a kid and the dinosaurs I accumulated during the period I really wanted to be a paleontologist. I guess now I just view it all as clutter I don't need :\ More for the rest of you!)
Actually, it makes me wonder how much of that $2 billion + of Halo sales is the related merchandise as opposed to games, books, and CDs or MP3s.

I too am curious as I can only attend NYCC.
This will be my first Comic-Con and it is mostly for Halo 4... a little of Legend Of Korra and a lot of The Walking Dead.

That's what's called "pulling a Dutch" amongst the ODSTs.
I heard that those were really limited. You could probably trade one of those for a few PAX tickets AND some plane tickets.
Tonight's Halo: Reach adventure:
I played Elite Slayer on Countdown followed by Slayer on Sword Base, Slayer on Sword Base, Slayer DMRs on Sword Base. I did not vote for a single one of those. The third time through the ringer on Sword Base I just gave up. Such an awful map that promotes awful, boring gameplay. Why do people keep voting for that particular Halo experience? What is so compelling about it?

Comic-Con is fun in NYC but over the last 3 years the crowds have gotten bigger. Be warned, show up early for your autographs
I really need to get framing my stuff. I have a few signed pieces of art from PAX's past that I meant to frame. Maybe I should add that to the sabbatical project list....
Getting on, planning to shoot many aliens in teams of two but if there's some GAFers shooting other people I'll gladly join for a game or two.

Well they were specific to War Games iirc (from expert zone). And I'm pretty sure they confirmed no mech in MM. And if they didn't I'll just go ahead and confirm it.

I'm pretty sure they'll be brand new vehicles. Wouldn't make sense not to add new vehicles.....I wonder if the mech counts as one.

Loved it, have to watch the other parts. GAF is Beast, wow.
Sure as hell wasn't going to let you guys use that thing lol. The problem was radar+sword on Zealot lol. Without sprint I just wait longer... Without radar gotta move gotta move.
Hope we can do different maps in the next round.

Would make sense since they are pretty immature over there and you know those kids and their shady tactics when it comes to DDoSing and knocking people offline... think its all fun and games but don't know its a felony.
Granted this is an assumption based on the previous actions of the day but it is likely.
For some reason I doubt GoDaddy would be THIS BAD so randomly.
Just something to think about, may be entirely off but its best to be safe.
Those guys just seem very shady... take this with a grain of salt.

Hello HaloGAF, new member here. Been a Halo fan since I first played CE on a friend's PC, and I've lurked casually around GAF for a few years, but never felt the urge to register until I got swept up in the excitement around Halo 4 and started lurking you guys hardcore. Yeah, I don't like having numbers, but I try to maintain constancy across my user names and some other Slaker got on XLB before me.
I joined GAF because all the "leaked" Halo 4 info was usually some blog that cited you guys. I started reading OT4 and got approved by OT6. I also joined because I read the MvC3 OT2 and various other OH TEES. So far this place is the best of it's kind in my opinion, with a mega-thread or two for every major game I am currently into. Feels good man.
Also, Halo 2 BR, Halo 4 AR (It's gonna be at least)

Yeah I used to post on Waypoint, I found it to be one of the dullest experiences online. Nobody there ever reads a thread, they read OP and then say what they want no matter how many times it has already been said. Rarely does a stimulating intellectual conversation happen there without bitching and arguing about canon or Reach and it's failure/success.
I read the news page there now and that's it. Being on Waypoint reminds me of when I was in 8th grade. Our school had two cafeterias, one for the 6th graders and one for 7th and 8th. I remember walking past the 6th grader cafeteria and seeing little kids roaring and jumping around and making a mess and being idiots... that is the Halo 4 section of Waypoint.
I didn't single anyone out.
