If only they implemented a teamless playlist...but no...no...they are too busy making halo amateur movies while they have a game in desperate need of a playlist fix and a game thats not getting as much attention as it should.

Think about it like this. 343 has a X amount of money. They are making a movie and a game this movie is free with game I believe?
Literally unless somehow they break the rules of everything and create a movie with a 0 dollar budget some money is being allocated to the movie that could have been allocated to the game instead.
Pretty simple to understand. Scrap a stupid fucking movie put dedi's in my fucking game I'm actually going to play.

343 = Microsoft. Microsoft's assets are virtually unlimited. 343i only needs to lend people who make sure the story is canon, essentially. Microsoft will make sure its flagship franchise gets whatever it nedds to be sucsessful

Is FUD even a 343 production? We know the actors aren't from 343. We know the effects aren't from 343. Locations weren't built by 343. Is it being directed by anyone at 343?
If you were to get everyone from 343i into a room and ask anyone who worked on the FUD miniseries who dedicated their own resources to that proect, how many would raise their hand?

It's likely that 343i's involvement is purely in an advisory capacity. Microsoft buys the TV spots and creates the marketing; 343i was given their budget to make the game. Nothing's being "siphoned" off from the game, at least not due to 343i. But ultimately they're a subsidiary.

Its a possibility but people at 343i are doing stuff with it taking their time away? So something of their budget is going to the movie...So it doesn't really matter to me the player of Reach? The consumer.
Truth is Reach still has terrible playlists and hasnt had a real update (Heavies can S my D, bring back SS and bring a Mercenaries playlist in) in many months. I'm stuck playing only when my friends are on because thats the only time its bearable. We literally play a game we hate. I'm not the only one here that does this...
I just feel maybe dedi's should have come first before an amateur movie.

No, I don't want a Reach all over again where they spoil every location, story point.. just simply an extended story trailer with a few extra scenes that lay out where the story begins, etc. I guess, something like 'The Commissioning' but using gameplay to tell the story and set up the game rather than live action.
I would kill for games taking place during the time of the Forerunners.. or who knows where the Universe will be after this trilogy.. One way or another I love the Halo Universe and would love for more ways to experience it in games.

Yeah that feature/app is hot. Win 8 has a messaging app similar to that, and I'm hoping the final version has the sync with the phone like the OS X/iOS one has. Very cool stuff.
If all thread titles for the foreseeable future aren't taken from Barrow's or Tawp's HaloGAF rewritten Halo 2 scenes, label me disappointed.
