Maybe I'll even bust out my ilovebees DVD before the beta starts...:lol
Holy crap, I had totally forgotten that the Cole Protocol even existed, and I read it :lol I liked Buckell's story in Evolutions quite a lot too, which makes me wonder what went wrong with The Cole Protocol. It was just... :/Ten-Song said:Yeah, the Flood sucks, everyone can skip it, because it is a bad book.
Fall of Reach is still my favorite, just because of how it details the growth of the Spartan II's. Ghosts of Onyx is also really good, as is Contact Harvest. First Strike is interesting just as a bridge between Halo 1 and 2. Cole Protocol has some interesting spots, but the pacing is a total mess, and ultimately it doesn't have much to say.

Doesn't work or anything, and from a guy who actually did manage to download it, doesn't work for him either. Nice to see the size of it though.

I'm not a hater, I just thought it was an awful read. If I had to compare it to something, I'd compare it to these fantasy books about dragons and people I read when I was in third grade.Kapura said:Haters be hatin' in full force tonight. It has been a number of years since I read it, but The Flood didn't strike me as particularly bad.

It's fine if you like it -- I just couldn't ever seriously let someone else read it, let alone recommend it.
yep damn, no way I have time for that, I work ......Plywood said:

I'm glad they ran that contest. Something actually fun to do instead of everyone else's stupidity.MagniHarvald said:But don't submit it.You're lowering my chances :lol

I mean, they're trapped in the Dyson sphere with no way for the Covenant to enter, and even if they do make it out, the war will be over at that point. I guess there's the possibility of other dudes being inside that sphere, but there doesn't seem to be a logical continuation. Oh well, whatever it is I'll be happy to get more of Blue Team

I mean Master Chief is obviously about to embark on some new adventure in the ending after the credits of Halo 3. It could tie into that even. They could take it in any direction. Maybe there's Forerunners in the dyson sphere for all we know?
