Five, Ghal, let's hook up when we're all done downloading. :)

Edit: 47%!

We need to ban people having fun earlier than everyone else. :lol

Edit: I knew I should have traded my SC2 key. Doh! :D

It's taking Tashi forever to find a match... Something to note to all other F&F people getting online before tonight, make sure you jump into matchmaking first, then do appearance stuff while waiting for a game.

So it just told me my NAT is not open, so I can't really do matchmaking. It's been set to "open" for years. Not sure how to fix. :(
I've been having the same problem with my NAT for the past couple of days. I'm unsure how to fix it as well. Maybe reset everything?

Did Bungie ever actually give people who participated in the Halo 3 Beta some sort of recognition in Halo 3 or on B.net? I thought they said they would, but I never noticed anything.

Well, I just woke up (no school today, woot) and read the news about Activision.
I'm not really angry or happy. But here's how I see it: Bungie's fanbase is rabid. We're proof of that here. But since their most popular product has been restricted to one of three systems for the entirety of its existence, it's not as large as it could be. The move to mulit-platform will allow them to expand their fanbase dramatically and make a ton of money. The money part of it is wholly a business decision, but expanding the fanbase should be beneficial to all of the fans, right?
From there: as long as the actual game is good, the only complaining we can do is about pricing, bundling, DLC, etc. And there's a very real possibility some bad shit will go down there. And that sucks, but I won't start bitching until it happens.

Now, to the Xbox. Hope my downloading will go quick...:D

I want a F&F code...

Please please please xD

The wait for monday is going to kill me.

I can't imagine I'll be all day at work staring at the goddamn clock.

What router are you using? Have you ever opened up any of the TCP/IP ports for XBL?

That happens to me every once in a blue moon. Signing out and signing back in usually fixes it.

P.S. I hate all of you and your super connections. 2% :(

You should be able to matchmake fine with almost any NAT, but search NAT settings for your router, adjust them in the browser-router menu. Bam.

Often you're looking to exempt the Xbox 360's IP address from a firewall. Or go DMZ or something.

Actually, I just remembered I got a new router a few months ago. I'm going to work through Dani's link real quick.

I would just say, which do you think is more likely? Bungie gets outa this unscathed? Or they get fucked over? Sure they'll pose a pretty picture when they make their announcement, but you all gotta be thinking like 'If these trends continue...' Activisions scorched earth policy isn't exactly a big secret anymore.

In the end I understand the whole free market money thing, I was just hoping companies like Bungie placed some monetary value on not doing business with a company like Activision.

I feel like I should be rageing about dedicated servers or something.....

This is more painful than I ever expected.. I wish my girlfriend would wake up so I can take her out for breakfast. That will ease the pain. :lol

Btw, slim chance or not, does anyone know if the emails from the websites doing contests go out yet?
