This game blows, and Bungie did it way better when it was called Abuse.

That game was ace. I would love to see it on DS.

it was called golgotha, and was opened up shortly after all the funding dried up. you probably won't be able to compile the source anymore, or run any executables that may be running around, but i think it was some kind of rts slash shooter slash kitchen sink. also, an early attempt at full 3d (recall that most 3d up to that point was portal-based 2.5d).

Ah yes, I completely forgot about that. There are a LOT of PC games (games which received much attention) that were canned between 96 and 99, it's hard to remember all of them. It was rather swell of them to release the source code and game data to the public, though.

Ocean *did* publish some good games too...like Batman The Movie, Combat School, Pang, Parallax. Platoon, Rainbow Island... and on Amiga games like Epic, F29 Retaliator and of course the best Vietnam war game ever, The Lost Patrol.

And loads more like Parasol Stars, New Zealand Story, Wizball, Puzznic, Worms, Head Over Heels etc. The crap to decent ratio was like 3-1, though.
