HaloGAF Radio Thread: The Official HaloGAF Podcast

GhaleonEB has a voice made for a podcast btw. Really liked his watcha been playing portion of the podcast. Had no idea about the Defense Grid/Counter Strike Go/Portal connection.

The "Explicit" tag on iTunes is probably something you may want to remedy.

Ehhh, that's intentional.

We start dropping f-bombs within the first five seconds of episode #1. I'd rather just live with the "explicit" tag than go through the trouble of censoring language to keep iTunes happy. :P

Haha it truly was. "Well I already fucked it up." Tashi's words after about two seconds if I recall correctly.

Try using that link for Zune or any other RSS reader. It should have the necessary podcast tags.

I submitted it to Zune Marketplace from the website, but if you have the application try submitting it there as well - the website didn't seem very responsive.

-------
Also, add episode 2 to the OP Tashi. :P

Episode 2 was fantastic. Ghaleon's mic was only an issue for te first few minutes, I guess I just got used to it. Really like how it's becoming it's own beast. The hours really fly by. Krow was just saying how laid back ye all sound. Bar Ghaleon's mic quality, it wouldn't be hard to convince me that ye were actually sitting round a table together. Really great stuff.

Also cool is seeing how 475 people have watched/listened to episode 1 on Youtube alone. Obviously that drops off quite a bit for episode 2 but it is very cool to see the interest this seems to be generating. The more avenues for distribution, the better.

Thanks a lot.

Yea I'd like to gain a large following. We just gotta keep doing what we're doing and hopefully the listeners will come :)

Can't wait. Also, Monday's show will be epic.

What time are we recording that one? I'm going to work out and eat after the MS & EA conference around 2pm so I won't be available until 4pm PST.

But I guess it doesn't matter when I show up since it'll be an open podcast, right?

Well I don't want to start it alone lol. I'll get out of work around 6pm Eastern, watch the conference. Absorb whatever info I can. Start show around 8 or 9

Random Comments:

1st segment, I largely can't remember because I was listening to it while chatting. sorry!

2nd segment, went on for some time. But you did have a good diversity in terms of thoughts on things. 789Shadow speak up!

Ryaan and surprisingly N00bs were both great to listen to. Very good radio/podcast voices. Heckfu's isn't bad either. Also Hypertrooper you barely said a word. :b

Second segment is hilarious!

Agree that the medals icon design look uninspired now, hopefully it was just placeholder and we get better medals.

I think Spartan Ops will continue till Halo 5, with hints on what to expect to take place in the next game. In a way it will be a bridging gap between the games, with the next Spartan Ops continuing the trend.

If you are in a segment with such passionate speakers like Heckfu and Hirednoobs, how should you find the courage to speak?

If there is a live recording at PAX Prime, I will say a lot more. Just for you.

Not finding it on the zune marketplace. Is there something specific I'm supposed to put in the search? "HaloGaf" isn't working.

Ah, for a second I thought Dani had been replaced by some happy dude who was optimistic for all of Halo 4, and then he started into the preorder bonuses and credits.

Life returns to normal.

I'm very optimistic for Halo 4. Particularly for the multiplayer, which a lot of HaloGAF doesn't seem to hot on at the moment.

The pre-order stuff still leaves a sour taste, especially juxtaposed right next to the spectacular E3 showings.

That's why I brought it up, just to bust your balls ahahha
