I get that this thread is a "let's have a great time ripping on a shit game" affair. But it's been so played out with the constant references that it's just not funny anymore. In fact it was never funny. The game is looooooong dead, you're flogging a long dead horse. The game was shit, the characters sucked, and the developers were a bunch of cunnies. Don't you get tired of the same negative bullshit with every thread? Most threads are a first page of people shit posting depending on what their allegiance is. What is there to gain by bringing up a 1 year anniversary for a game that doesn't exist anymore? The most active threads on this forum are full of people at war with each other and that's why some of us just don't engage.

I thought about this the other day. Everything wrong with the game visually and agenda driven, i don't disagree with what your saying. The additional problem is it did nothing well. The level designs, game play loop, world, it was all pretty bland. The game had zero chance. I respect Sony for having the balls to shut it down.

They say never judge a book by it's cover, Concord has a terrible cover and nothing worthwhile reading on the pages. Crowded arena too.

Concord is on the level of FFXIV before it became a realm reborn. How does this shit happen like Halo Infinite, I get not being hands on, but being 100% hands off too? The first for Gaas blinds management and executives.

I was a an Xbox gamer the first few years Ive been on GAF, so it was a part of the daily routine for me.

It always pains me when gargantuan amounts of money end up in no tangible product. I mean, I get that people gotta eat, and, ultimately, as per the utilitarian creed, that money wasn't 'wasted', in the strict maslowian sense (it wasn't set on fire and dumped in a pit).

But spending all those funds with no genuine deliverable absolutely sucks, especially when there are so many dormant IPs which would only require a fraction of that sum for an installment (ex. Anachronox Part 2, or Jazz Jackrabbit 3, or a new Magic & Mayhem title).
I have the same feeling about Star Citizen; such an immense expenditure, for so little.

^ since I haven't seen it posted here, this guy reviewed the Concord episode of Secret Level and holy shit this looked awful.

Featuring an insufferable black girlboss protagonist with blue lipstick and visible armpit hair (with closeup shots to make sure you don't miss it). And the "normal looking white guy" character is some vain, cowardly, incompetent asshole who betrays them.

I still think, Sony should've sucked it up and let public submit and vote on characters they want in the game. So outsourcing the character creation to the masses, that would've been newsworthy and attract some decent base.

"Hey, we suck at this, why don't you all help us, submit your character renderings".
