Don't give a shit, seen enough fireworks to last me a lifetime. Knowing I will be awoken through the night, at least I will be blackout drunk soon and sleep through the worst of it. Kids at their mom's house, they have some kind of pool now? Happy 4th everyone. Explored San Fran today with some fiends, ate some edibles, and went to F9. We were supposed to catch some fireworks but skipped out this year. Still one of the best 4ths I’ve had.

Seems like almost every American holiday is loud. The 4th, fireworks. Easter, screaming kids. Christmas, fucking carolers. Thanksgiving...family arguing, fist fights, throwing shit, crying, hugging and never-ending apologies.

The hate and violence in the USA has forced me to stop flying a U.S. flag at my home. Having had to be a caregiver since 2013, I have had to stop flying a U.S. flag where I live, because it has been under constant physical attack, and I could not risk the safety of people I am caring to support. I also had to stop putting a U.S. car flag on my car in 2018, when it was getting ripped off of my car, no matter where I parked on the East Coast. I may not be able to fly the U.S. flag due to the hate and violence by extremists here, to keep others safe, but it is not without bitterness and distrust of those vicious strangers who call themselves "Americans." I have nothing but contempt for those vicious and cruel figures, whose acts of violence are praised and normalized by the U.S. media. It is a disgrace. At some point, the U.S. media needs to decide if they want to live in this country or not. Because mostly they just want to tear apart and divide this country. And innocent people suffer the price.
