Such a great actor. Some of the best western movies ever made.

I prefer the old Spaghetti westerns more than others though. Even Unforgiven got a little too "new" looking. Not that dirty/gritty look of the older movies.

Outlaw Josey Wales is one of my favorite western movies ever made. I love the Good, The Bad, the Ugly trilogy, but The Outlaw Josey Wales is just such a great movie..

Pale Rider and Hang 'Em High are also classics.

I'm a big Clint Eastwood fan.

Also gotta love these as well: Play Misty for Me (Clint is big on Carmel, CA because of this), The Gauntlet, and In the Line of Fire (one of his better "newer" movies).
Some of my favorite hidden gems would be High Plains Drifter, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, Honkytonk Man (Clint is a decent musician), Tightrope, A Perfect World. Enjoyed In The Line of Fire too.

Been slowly going through all the movies Clint stared in. Some lesser gems worth watching:

Where Eagles Dare - Younger Clint in a supporting role as the American agent in a team of soldiers sneaking into a Nazi compound. Excellent stuff.

Eiger Sanction - I think this was supposed to be a serious competitor for the Bond films at the time, but watching it now it's so goddamn funny.

City Heat - Clint & Burt Reynolds in a Noir movie together where they openly hate each other. Embarassingly bad, but couldn't stop watching at the same time.

Joe Kidd - Clint spits on everything, the movie.

The Rookie - Buddy Cop movie where he's pretty much still Calahan here, fun comedy thrown in.

Going through his more popular films like the Dirty Harry movies, and Any Which Way You Can / But Loose, are magical time capsules of a very different culture to say the least.

Think I will watch Outlaw tonight.

Clint didn't even claim him as his son until much later. His birth certificate says "father declined" and Clint pretended like he wasn't the father until the 90s when a tabloid exposed it and they still didn't acknowledge they were his kids until the 2000s. Scott Eastwood didn't even start using the Eastwood name until 2009 (he was Scott Reeves until then). Clint was still with Sandra Locke when he fathered the Reeves kids.

My favorite Clint Eastwood movies:
-Play Misty for Me
-Dirty Harry (all of em')
-Heartbreak Ridge
-Absolute Power
-Unforgiven
-Bridges of Madison
-Gran Torino
-Million Dollar Baby
-The Mule

There should be a thread of nothing but Clint Eastwood quotes✌
