Wow it's already been 20 years? Such fond memories as a kid. NES was pratically just Super Mario Bros. 1,2,3 for me, I played those games more than any other on the system. Well, I feel old.

Maybe he is older than 24 but from all the arcades I saw around Central California(Fresno had quite some nice arcades back then) I'd say it was 1981,maybe even older if youre going by world wide debutes.

It surprises me how many people think such a silly thing.

Sonic was awesome on Genesis and has either been average or sucked ever since. I don't see how someone can think that 4 great 2D Sonic games which were all pretty much the same and the very mediocre 3D games are better than Mario 1-3, Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Mario 64, whatever. There's such a huge gap in quality.
