Ok, hope the title confused you enough. If you've ever played the game blockland (do a google for it, virtual lego playing game), you might know it takes a bit of dedication to make anything interesting. Saw this picture, and thought it was awesome that he actually took the time to make it.

Whaa? Blockland? What is this? This is AWESOME! I gotta check this out ASAP! I fool around constantly with MLCAD, grabbing instructions from Brickshelf, building old lego sets I used to own when I was a kid. But to actually walk around and go INSIDE the things... *weeps* DON'T LOOK AT ME!

Amir0x, a few other people and I had a fling with blockland some time ago. It ended when we learned there was no practical way to save large projects, and the slowdown with as many blocks as we used was TERRIBLE (6800s choked).

Our idea was to make a subway, complete with 3 cars and two stations, with a town on top of it, and the ends of the tunnel would be grassy hills with arched entrances. It was going to be so cool, but even at the early stage shown in the pics, the framerate was terrible, and saving was impossible. ;_;

The good news is that the game is going to be a retail product, so those issues will be resolved.
