OSTs of MGS2 and MGS3, day and night difference. How much involvement did HGW have with MGS3?

He must have gotten better in games composition. MGS3 music cues are like a professional Hollywood movie. Don't laugh at me, im only a casual movie goer.

Norihiko Hibino indeed improved tenfold after his atrocius in-game music in MGS2. In MGS3 he seriously gives HGW a run for his money. The soundtrack has a really cohesive feel between gameplay portions and cut-scenes. They even composed a couple of tracks together. HGW's stuff is a lot better than what he wrote for MGS2, too. Just excellent stuff all around, even the Healing Radio music.

Agreed. Snake EAter song is awesome, apart from that MGS3 music is pretty forgettable

MGS 2 on the otherhand had some of the best music this gen

disagree. MGS3 OST >> MGS2 OST. MGS2 lost something off of MGS1's in game music and then had some tracks, like the ending, that I just didn't like at all. MGS3 had some fantastic in game music, boss battle music(one western type in particular), an insanely memorable theme song, great ending track, and a bunch of great music throughout.
