I feel like this show has run away from Zendaya's character so much, the plot shenanigans to keep her involved are probably gonna be extreme. The more it focuses on her, her terrible decisions, and the lack of any accountability, the worse it was. Even the trans character had a more interesting arc, IMHO.

Her poor decisions are literally the entire point of her character though - she is an addict.
sure, but she gets plot saved over and over.
If she ends up bleeding out in the gutter, riddled with HIV and hepatitis, then I'll revisit my opinion of the character.

I would agree, a dark ending for her character would be way more impactful.
But i'm not opposed to a happy ending if its done well (and, to me, the show hasn't missed yet)
The tonal shift started midway through S2, I think as the budget increases so does the scale of the story.
But I truly think S1 and S2 are some phenomenal stuff in the writing, acting and cinematography department.
It looks like a Tarrantino film, GTA 6 and Euphoria S3 all in one.

Not the biggest fan of Season 2, but man it had some of the best scenes ive ever seen in a tv show. Now i hear Hans Zimmer has joined the Weekend as the composer. This has the potential to be great.

Yea S2 had some insanely good performances that Im glad got recognized, Ep 5 is one of the best episodes of TV I have ever seen. So fucking raw.

nvm i confused labryinth with the weeknd. The creator of Euphoria did an HBO mini series with the Weeknd last year.
And yes, episode 5 was fucking insane.
