One Punch Man Season 3 - Official Trailer

Great - hopefully it will cover at least till the Garou battle. Looking forward watching it - but I hope it would keep a good pacing. Honestly Murata's version feels like it added a bit too much padding. I appreciate new characters compared to the original, but sometimes wonder if that's all that necessary - even if Murata is working with One's permission and direction.

There has been so many needless revisions with Murata's adaptation for past couple of years, I feel like the simpler, more condensed form of One's original vastly superior... even One's drawing has made grate stride compared to the early days.

I ahve 0 confidence in this being animated well. Trailed did nothing to prove otherwise. In fact it looks like it has the same issues that plagued the second one. Fucking unbelievable that they went with JC staff after the s2 disaster.

As long as they can match the quality of season 2 that's all I can ask for.

To me, this was good enough:

Already looks like shit tier animation.

Half the shots in that trailer literally have no animation at all.

I'm already concerned it's gonna suck balls like Season 2.

No idea why or how they could take a show that went absolutely stratospheric with S1, and just say "fuck it, let's do a shitty hack job on the cheap for the rest of it".

Are they allergic to success/money?

I unfortunately have extremely high tolerace for low quality animations so if the plot and humor remain the same, i'm ok with it.

The biggest problem with season 2 was the sporadic and unsatisfying structure of the main storyline (the competition). The animation is secondary to the script, although the former is obviously very important too.

Well, even if they had gotten Madhouse again for Season 2, the actual director of Season 1 was directing the 2019 Boogiepop Phantom anime that year. So they might not have gotten the same director anyway which might have meant a less impressive second season anyway.

Hopefully it'll be as good as season 1 or between 1 and 2 at least.

Wish they spend more budget and time on this way sooner cause we could have gotten season 4 or even 5 by now.

Do I sense a fellow Seven Deadly Sins viewer?

If so, then we are both aware of what the absolute bottom of animation looks like with anime.

Damn, they'll call anything a trailer nowadays.

S2 was shit largely because Saitama was hardly in it.

Whenever he did show up it was back to business.

JC flexed some on the the last few episodes, so it's in them. Also, if the animation is shitty I'm still watching.
