Hearthstone Now Available on Android Tablets (AU/CAN/NZ )

This won't work on Android phones....right?

My hubby gave me a newer Samsung tablet to play with from work (it's Samsung SGH-1467M - is that a Tab? I don't even know)

I'm sure it'll run the game way better than my aging (lol!) iPad 3, which basically chugs while attempting to run Hearthstone. So disappointing.

Like others I was able to get this running outside of the release regions just by downloading the patch files (the files the game tries to get after the initial download) that were hosted.

I then proceeded to play for 8 hours straight. My head..

Needless to say, I have a new addiction.

Edit: This was on an NVIDIA Shield Tablet.

Got this to work on my S4 by rooting and spoofing my screen size. I see no reason why the UI cannot work on phones. The game plays perfectly on my phone except for some slow-down and random stutters.

Can we use Amazon coins to buy packs/Naxxramas expansion?

I specifically saved around $20 worth of Amazon coins for this Android release haha

I was able to download this straight from Google Play onto my SHIELD Tablet in Germany just now, so it appears the roll out has expanded.

Did any of you get it to run on a smartphone?

I'm on my LG G3 and when starting up the game, it just says "Failed to download additional files from Google Play". Did I do something wrong?

I did on a Nexus 5, as have multiple people on Reddit on other phones.

You have to install both the apk and the .obb files, then use some application to fool the game that you're using a tablet. Most of these apps require a rooted phone. The one that seems to be always working right now is Resolution Changer (by NOMone), and set the DPI at 212. I have played multiple games and created decks with no problem. The only thing is that it makes using the phone difficult (especially if you have no physical buttons), and you have to always have a way to go back to the app and restore to defaults, if you dont want to reboot every time you're done playing Hearthstone. It's only a minor hassle changing the DPI and reverting every time, but Hearthstoning on the go is a reward well worth it :)

I installed both apk and obbs, and an app called Xposed App Settings and set it to full size, but it still won't run it. My phone isn't rooted, it really have to be?

I'll try put the apk and obbs on my internal memory instead of on the SD card now, and see if it works.

Edit:
It seems to be working now that I moved it all to the internal memory! At least it's unpacking crates now.

Yeah xposed is actually better but I have Lollipop and I read somewhere that it doesn't work on that :/ Good luck with the internal memory, unpacking crates is a good sign

It actually runs very smooth and nicely on my LG G3 so far. But I don't understand why I have to complete the tutorial again when I already completed it on PC.
