D'you really think that the RIAA/MPAA has no idea that the other programs and networks exist?
I'm sure they do, but the IRAA still has to get approval from the courts to instill their spying software into a P2P software.
ANd it's pretty obvious when installing what does or doesn't have bloated ware in it.
But as much or more than anything, the IRAA seem to want to use Kazaa as a stepping stone for showing how they can slam the average person for trading mp3's more than any other right now.
In fact, now that I think about it, disregard my Blubster recomendation, I noticed they started using shitty spyware and searchbar crap in their install files last update.
Poilet rocks!!!
On a side note:
Which is odd, I'd love to see someone with the balls to challenge these asshats, and actually have legit store bought 8tracks, records, tapes or Cd's for the music they downloaded.
Besides, the songs being traded back and forth are almost always compressed lossy songs, no way should the penalty for such shitty quality ripped songs bring such a penalty.
