Help? Just Got Followed Into My Neighborhood (Road Rage)

you should have probably filmed it

honestly you sound like a person that shouldn't have a concealed carry permit

I wouldn't shoot someone unless I absolutely had too but if they go up to my window and see it sitting on my lap they will 99% of the time turn right around. Most of these road rage people become complete cowards when they know that they don't have the upper hand.

Be more considerate of truck drivers than speedsters.

Over here Trucks are supposed to be speedlocked at 105 km/hr, which means they drive with the gas floored all the time. Also they are often expected to be on time and paid by the km or mile, so if you force them to slow down, you cut their paycheck.

I respect all drivers. I totally understand occupational drivers, and will give them leeway all the time. I also understand the stopping distance of a truck has to be greater and hence the larger gap in front. I totally respect people who drive for their living - In many ways, though, I expect them to be BETTER drivers for it, but there are always cases of taxi drivers, bus drivers, courier drivers and truck drivers just believing they own the roads.

I safely cut in because I was being tailgated to another lane, only to be DANGEROUSLY tailgated by a vehicle that would crush me and my family had they chosen to do so, and it sure felt close.

Regardless of the situation, there's never a call to recklessly endanger people. I've had people cut me off, and I just slowly back off. Theres no point to road rage or reckless driving.

I've seen people weave in and out of traffic for no purpose really, and sure, maybe THEY are pro-race car drivers, but not everyone else on the road is, and being erratic puts others in danger.

I don't know why this made me laugh.

Just imagining this dude on his way to work, sees your husbands car, and thinks "I'll get you this time"

It only happened twice before my husband said "Fuck it" and asked me for another route (I know the area better than him).

Always wait until you can see the truck's headlights in your rear view mirror. If the tailgater is too impatient for that, he can be the one to cut off the truck.
