DD2 is very ambitious but hates the player and the bugs will drive you nuts. Sank 30hours plus into it and gave up two thirds in. Can't speak for the others.

i m trying this one since morning, but i cant leave colony 9 since side quests doesn't stop pop in and i cant leave those "!" unchecked since i have a problem with uncompleted markers, does side quest never end ?
Grab all the side quests whenever you hit a new town and then just look for "!" above items or enemies as you play through the normally through the main quest. You'll complete a lot of them this way. Most side quests in XC1 are just there to give you money and experience, they don't really add anything major to the game.

Out of those on the list, I'd go for Dragon's Dogma 2. It didn't meet my expectations but it still is a pretty cool adventure/open world beat'em'up game. You get 9 different classes which each play very different from the others, and the fights against big monsters can get quite epic at times. Just don't expect the level of storytelling from western RPGs.

Make sure to check the mod scene if you are on PC, lots of cool stuff there. Hit me up if you want some recommendations but mostly check out the difficulty mods (game becomes quite easy after a while) and the wild loot mod.

already tried and lords of the fallen imo is one of the wort souls likes out there ( at least the ones i've played ) , the environment looks like a asset mess and game plays like shit imo.
You probably played 1.0 version, which was not good. Give it another chance if you can, at least 1-2 hours. It's awesome now.

done with Xenoblade :( , already did 50 sidequest on the first city ( colony 9 ) and there is more to do it, my OCD cant handle this, maybe in the future they ll remake the game and tune down the amount of sidequest, i did some reading and there is 32 main quest and 495 sidequest.... WHY ?

The sidequests in this game are botom of the barrel disgusting time waster fetch quests. There will be a base building aspect later in the game andthe side quests reward you by showing a complex infographic about relationships between all the NPCs you've helped, besides that they're worthless for the most part.

XC1 is a very unique game with many plot twists and great world building. If you can endure ignoring the sidequests and continue on straight to finish the game alone imo that would be the best.

Am I burnt out from modern games? Not really. Sure, I have my gripes, but overall, I think gaming is in a good spot

What I'm more burnt out on is the constant stream of complaints about how gaming is supposedly worse now, or how this generation of games is a letdown

It's the same old 'everything was better in the past' narrative, and it's honestly always been tiresome whether it's movies, music, sports, or games
They've to find a way to reset their brains and start from modern games. Sometimes I feel like, but I'm constantly fighting back that thought, about productism in video games, it's like liking a new soda flavor and never think about the brand again cause there's nothing new to expect more from what I've just experienced, besides someone's crazy enough to come up with something completely new like Neil Druckmann or Paul Hellquist and change our pov about video games.
