So I've got this cultural awareness assignment in Human Relations class where I need to talk to someone from another culture about the differences between living in their country and living in America. After I talk to them I have to write a two page paper that I must present to the class. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone from another country, so I'm kind of stuck. Even if I did, for whatever reason, the person has to be a stranger. I'm not supposed to know them well. I've been thinking of just making up a person and getting info off the net but that might be a little hard to find details, so I decided to come here first.
I'm pretty sure GAF has a few people from different countries who either live in America now or have some time in the past. If you're from America but currently living in another country that may work too, as long as you can describe how that country differs from American society and all that.
Basically, I just need someone from a country other than the US (since I'm American) to describe their experiences in American society and tell of both the similarities and differences between their culture and America. It doesn't have to be anything too long, but the more detail you can include the better.
