I have a report due in 8 hours that's worth 25% of my mark. I just started today and it's soooo boring. I don't drink coffee, so anybody have any "natural" ways of keeping alert/staying awake?

Stop wasting ur time reading the forums and write ur paper? Ofcourse this won't be the best way to stay awake. But you to finish it sooner or later. So just get it out of the way.

I was up for 38 hours from monday morning to tuesday night. The ~18 hour mark was actually the hardest. Afterwards, smooth sailing.

I don't drink coffee either, but I made an exception. And yeah, lots of light.

And Riz, I've been writing this things all day, I need breaks! Investigating the effects of tolerance on numerical methods (for solving differential equations) is not the most exciting of topics :/

Now seriously, even you don't drink coffee the best thing is to mix cofee with Coca-Cola...you won't sleep.

Seeing as you don't drink coffee, you're probably not used to its effects, so I'd make an exception and go with that.

Red Bull might work better. i drink coffee so YMMV, but it doesn't have the comedown that coffee has.

Sleepy time for you, time to wake up for me.

I didn't fall asleep until 2 last night (damn you HL2!!), and then my girlfriend woke me up at 6 am because a woman ran right by our window screaming at someone who was chasing her apparently. Well that kind of spooked me out, and then I had to stay up with her and walk her to her car at 6:30 so she could get to work.

Now I gotta drive 2 hours to some interview, and I'm going on about 4 hours of sleep. It's actually a information session/interview so I'll be there ALL FREAKING DAY.

I'm going to try that tobasco trick. See if it works. And pop. I'm gonna drink lots of pop.
