"no" won't do for a holding. You're holding should be a rule that can be read on its own and applied to other similar situations.

And yes I know it makes sense in relation to your "issue."
 
what's funny is that the teacher wants the holdings to be no more than one word: yes or no. I know that it can (and probably should) be longer but that's the format he wants.

But the rest of it looked good? I understand it's a lot of reading to get the gist of the case at hand so thanks a lot for looking at it.
 
oh, well, in that case, yeah, seemed fine to me.

One other thing, in legal writing a lot of people are anal about use of the passive voice, but depends on what your professor wants.

I hated not being able to use the passive voice. (see, can't even write three sentences without it)
 
oh. I hope I didn't do that.

Thanks for the help. This is the last one, now I just have to pass the last two tests and the final. It's hard when the test is 15 questions and covers 10 chapters.
