Here are some advices for those who haven't played MGS3 yet, on how to enjoy playing MGS Delta for the first time.

I also will play this way, even though I already played MGS3 hundreds of times.

This is at least for the first playthrough.

- turn the difficulty at least to the Hard

- try to be a ghost as much as possible, use tools and weapons, as well as interrogation only when you ABSOLUTELY need it

- don't, I repeat DON'T kill any character in a wheelchair!!! You will thank me later.

- just because you can change uniforms, and face paint, doesn't mean you should do it all the time; in fact, it becomes even more fun when your Camo Index is lower, and enemies are more likely to spot you

- during a certain boss fight don't use thermal goggles, and map to find your opponent, but rather try to rely on your own eyes, while at the same time being careful not to let him see you

- use tranquilizer gun, and CQC as your primary weapons

- even though Metal Gear series gives you a higher rank when you finish the games as fast as possible, at least during the first playthrough, just go at your own pace
What are the chances this is actually going to happen?

I can't believe you thought it was a good idea to just make a thread spoiling all sorts of stuff about a game mere days before it launches.

Especially the bit about the wheelchair, that's like a multi-level spoiler. Why the fuck would you do this? What's the matter with you?

Here's another:

Equip the crocodile cap (early missable) during the Ocelot boss fight.
You find this in the first big water area with crocs. Take the left path after you swim under some logs. Climb a tree, traverse a rope, drop down and catch another rope which brings you to the crocodile cap.

That wasn't what I wanted at all.

Look, just leave me alone, I need some time to calm down.

As if a newbie will have time to kill the wheelchair guy before he disappears.

Your mission orders in Metal Gear Solid frequently require you to be inconspicuous and avoid the enemy's detection, and while the new Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake has updated the original game's controls, there are some mechanics and systems that remain finicky and hard to master (especially the CQC). So if you're trying to complete a run with 0 alerts or are just looking for some pointers, here's our guide to help you Stealth through the jungle like The Boss in Metal Gear Solid Delta.
