He and Jake are doing the stuff w/ Breakaway.
Jake constantly trying to dip into other games has been one of his issues this whole time. Of course they'll go w/ the people who only do Heroes compared to the one who they know has his resume out there all the time.

eh dipping into other games would be fine if he found success there. Jake has been unsuccessful in catching and keeping a crowd everywhere is the issue.

i thought with zoia not being there in THH i might actually get a jake who is paying attention and actually have some good insights or points of discussions, but that didnt last long lol.
Dunk and Bakery have alot of interesting points and insights to make and jake will try and jump in on them but he reeks of a more casual mindset. Anytime he tries to go into a point about balance or anything it seems whiney or uninspired. Like I get legit upset whenever anyone brings up Tyrande and Jakes ears perk up and hes like "I used to play her all the time and now shes not fun or busted and blah blah..." Jake I dont wanna hear about how heroes was a year ago when you played it a bunch, im interested in the meta now thanks.

After two absolutely abysmal Thrall games (because that's how the mm works with Thrall, KTZ+Jaina+Valeera+Tracer vs Thrall? That's ok) I had my third ever, but first good, Cassia game where she felt really nice to play. I completed the Q quest at like 17 minutes and the game ended 2 minutes later so I didn't get a huge value out of it (or played too much with the increased range at 20), but if I stopped trying to save my Valeera I would have probably hit 20 stacks sooner. Either way, I got top dmg with 21k over the second place, so that's good. To be fair, I played her first two games when her E was bugged so maybe that's why.
Edit: oh, it's 40 stacks, I see. So I did get some value out of it when I got to 20.

i was hoping this would be the case, yet it feels like all he does is pine for the old days of tyrande. Which again that wouldn't even be super terrible but when you have such analytic minds like bakery and dunk and then jake cant get past "it was fun to blow up nerds!" I find myself getting tired of it pretty quick
Yeah, tHH really feels like its dying. Which is sad as its what got me into esports in the first place. But Jake doesnt seem interested in it - the fact we went for two weeks without an upload is fucking ridiculous. Can you imagine any professional podcast from another content producer not uploading for two whole weeks?
I dont mind that Jake isnt hugely playing the game anymore - but he needs to not piss around in try mode whilst people are speaking, he needs to act as a host and let the pros talk, he needs to plan the discussion in advance more and he needs to sound like he wants to be there and wants to succeed. Also what happened to the guests from the pro scene?
Its a real shame. Without Jake and THH I literally wouldnt be watching esports at all, so I owe him a huge amount and his enthusiasm in the ealier podcasts kept me in the game when I would have left a long time ago. But nowadays he just seems bored, uninterested, and would rather be someplace else playing something else.

Played another one with a Zagara literally afk pushing, completely uncontested unless I was the one dealing with her. Also Malth not defending bosses but split pushing.
Weekend = Unranked or nothing.

I feel so weird not playing specialist or a hero who can merc camps. like my team tends to roam and go for kills then lane for seconds and continue roaming
As a rule of thumb: can you solo a merc camp before 10 without dying? Do you have bribe stacks? If the answers aren't both "yes" you shouldn't solo camps.

I doubt I can get to grandmaster, especially this season, so i kinda haven't been playing. I have a chair league match on thursday, but besides that I probably won't play this week. I'm a bit burnt out at this point despite still having fun when I do play a match.
I really need a backup game

Dammit, I do Zag and Gaz before 10.
Gaz is not even a real character in the game, but Zag takes too long that early in the game, you're just wasting time and mana while not soaking a lane.

Eh zag can do mountain giants decently fast early on, w/o taking damage even. Hitting giants right at the 2 minute mark can be very advantageous.

no one should be brawling at the 2 minute mark anyway and Zag shouldn't have to go to the well either. Her minions can tank the giants attack. Taking an early camp is done to pressure a lane in the absence of the opponents due to an objective or to commit heavily with it right away.
Technically Zag can cap Bosses with her minions tanking everything, it's not advised because it takes forever.

Well, I wouldnt solo a camp if my team dive in their deaths I just join them wait after objetive phase and do camps
