thats actually not too difficult, just think of it as if you are painting with oils, start with darks and build up with lighter colors. use layers so you dont always fuck up with coloring outside the lines and know something about lighting\shading.

I need to figure out some better palette colors. I've been using the same palette for coloring for a couple years, but it just doesn't look right. I just can't select my colors on the fly like this guy does. I also wish I could do my lineart as well.

Then the big dude in the back who looks like some Extreme Studios character. EDIT: I take that back....it could be anybody's character. I'm about to resort to google. LOL My brain is stuck on this one.

Well, it's still nice to see how other people create their work, and learn from it, even if you're better. It's not as though every great artist that really is better creates such nice little videos to show how they do it. As it is, I still have a lot of catching up to do in terms of that level of quality.

It almost looks like some mouse wheel action.

Anyone care to tell me how to setup PS to do that?

to change brush sizes quickly just use the [ key and the ] key to go smaller and then bigger respectivly.

I didn't bother to watch the vid, but is it faster than the standard [ and ] key short cuts for brush sizing? If it is, he could be using the touch strips on the Intuos 3.
