Hey physics GAF, could mass be a dimension?

Sounds very interesting. I'll check it out, although I honestly have no means to try to develop or back the idea in any way or form... I'm just entertaining myself here, the idea seemed pretty cool, lol.
Don't worry, many in the physics community are actually doing the same.

The wheel is a cylinder, my friend.
A wheel is usually a torus, which is not homeomorphic to a cylinder.

It may help to think in terms of Einsteins equations, which heuristically say Geometry = Energy. Mass belongs to the right hand side. Spacetime to the left.
Think of them if you want as dual quantities.
While the metric uniquely defines the stress-energy tensor, the reverse isn't true so I'm not sure it's right to call them dual.

I wonder if we could create a room with a super gravitational field that would allow us to go into the far into the future in hours fro time dilation.

Yes, it's just a heuristic. They are not dual in any technical sense..

Hmm, the tire would be a torus, but the whole wheel?

All subjects in that narrative are abstract elements in your "theory" of the world.
The brain is so damn fast that you don't even notice this.

You could just be a brain in a vat, for all we know.
Piss on the lawn is no theory
