That port back there looks like the same kind of multi-av out xbox uses...

So they could probably make a dvi HD pack or something if they wanted.

true. very bland. i think the console might have looked better if they hadn't gone with the changeable faceplate idea. Customization is overrated. for all the money, you'd think they could've hired a proper designer.
Having said that, the controller is sexy as hell.

No black and white buttons?
I thought this thing would be backwards compatible? How are games that use the balck and white buttons going to work since you can't use the old Xbox controllers with this.

black/white buttons were changed to shoulder buttons

The black/white buttons were garbage.

The black/white buttons weren't great for rapid-pressing or something you needed to access super-quickly, but I kind of got used to them as secondary buttons (e.g. light in Halo); it'll be somewhat weird not to have them, and I've always been a fan of six face buttons over four, no matter how unwieldy the last two may be, but eh, it'll all work out.*

i really want to like the console design, but it's not doing anything for me. Looks like a "lifestyle" PC case or one of the Indrema designs.

i do like the controller though, gaudy X jewel aside. It's like a remodelled Model S minus the black and white buttons. i'm glad they didn't feel the need to add more buttons to it; the Controller S isprobably my favorite current gen controller overall.
