'but once you recognize the secret reason for her exposure, you will feel ashamed of your words & deeds.'
I think what I meant was sexualizing victims of war would make a person's words of lust and deeds of lustful glances to shame.I still can't make sense of that.
I’m willing to bet MHK will come back at some point. Admittedly I don’t even know why he got banned this time.
I’m happy to share anything new I find about Kojima and Metal Gear, but I’m not sure I‘m ready to commit to leading the thread.
Leave it to me!He was permanently banned because he requested to be, its that simple.
No need to lead but please lets keep the thread alive in his memory!
I hope he returns one day. The guy seemed very passionate, witty and loved this place. At least he's focusing on himself.I’m willing to bet MHK will come back at some point. Admittedly I don’t even know why he got banned this time.

I'm enjoying MGS V a lot at the moment! I never felt as tense -- and even scared -- in other games. The missions can be quite challenging, they require patience and calculated risk-taking.I hope he returns one day. The guy seemed very passionate, witty and loved this place. I'm happy to help keep this thread alive. I actually could see myself returning to MGS V eventually, it is sitting in my library waiting for me. Death Stranding is something I still need to pick up, but loved how unique it is.
Now might be a good time to ask: what's the exact meaning of this meme? I know I used it myself before but I'm never sure I truly GETTT IIITTT

It's definitely very tense. I found the opening a tad long, but the more I think about it, I get new found appreciation It was very tense, cinematic and engrossing. I had a bit of difficulty following along but I'm not as knowledgeable about MGS lore, I just dig the gameplay and stealth mechanics.I'm enjoying MGS V a lot at the moment! Even when you're familiar with the MGS lore, V is a whole another beast. It's a lot more cryptic than other MGS games. The YouTuber Futurasound Productions has dedicated entire videos to deciphering what's going on in MGS V.

I imagine when I give the game a proper go, I'll love it. I'm tempted to do some research beforehand on past games again to appreciate it more. Might be a good idea when the time comes.
I never knew about this until tonight:
I never got around to play PS3 games, if I could MGS4 would be a top pick along with MGR Revengeance and FFXIII.Glad this thread was bumped.
I literally found MGS 4 yesterday in my house, with a few other PS3 games (Mercenaries 2, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Modern Warfare 2). I had totally forgot about them. Part of me wants to boot up a PS3 to play it. Man, that shit takes me back.
Although I do remember this game had super long cutscenes, probably why I never finished it. This would probably be one of the best games to play again, as it has likely aged better than most PS3 games. It looked really good for its time.
I can see a teaser being dropped sometime this year.Well here’s to the next game hope it’s good hope it’s sessy
This thread shall rise from the ashes
I wonder what he means by “outrageous”? Beauty & the Beast Corps dating sim?
Japanese Government Grants Hideo Kojima Award for Fine Arts
Famed video game auteur Hideo Kojima is given the Minster's Award for Fine Art, most notably for the Director's Cut of Death Stranding.gamerant.com
According to a tweet from the Kojima Productions account, the director has received the Minister of Education Award for Fine Arts from the Agency of Cultural Affairs in Japan, in the category of media arts. This represents the first time that a notable figure from the video games industry has won the award since the category was introduced in 2008. The last winner was Shigeru Miyamoto, who was awarded it in 2010, meaning it's been twelve years since a gaming figurehead has won.
This is undoubtedly a prestigious honor for Kojima. According to the document that lists all the latest winners of this particular Art Award, Kojima received the honor due to his achievements on the director's cut of Death Stranding. While a press release was sent out detailing the award, the link has since been taken down for unknown reasons. However, according to a report from The Gamer, it's alleged that the committee felt that Death Stranding's "dynamic interactions" and depictions of "methods transcending existing theories" in video games were worthy of praise.
For everything that we've seen in the history of gaming, few games have come close to matching the attention to detail seen in Hideo Kojima's titles.
Whether it's Metal Gear Solid or Death Stranding, there are all kinds of incredible things to see. Let's take a look at 15 of the most insane details here.
