Hideo Kojima wants to scan a real ghost for OD

This guy just lost it. And he is going to be really disappointed because there a none, and if he "finds one" it will be a scam.

There is no such thing as "ghosts".
They are however demonic spirits that prowl around and who are extremely dangerous.
To get rid of them, you have to ask for the help of a catholic priest, an exorcist.
Kojima should not joke about this and go to an excorcist rather than a pagan "shrine".

For pople interested about this, I recommend reading about Father Gabriel Amorth, called "the Vatican's exorcist" and who performed over 60 000 exorcisms over his "career".

Great book, this man was a baller.

Spirits, ghosts, whatever you call it, don't exist.

Is anyone actually reading the interview.

Its not ridiculous he wants to scan real life haunted sites and he hopes maybe that would show a ghost.

Like its not a ridiculous statement. People try too hard to discredit Kojima over literally nothing

God is real, so is the devil.
Angels and demons as well.
Many people are possessed, many of them in positions of power.
You have an immortal soul and they want it.

Like another poster said, pray that you will not find out by yourself how true this is.

Hope for your sake you get to finish your time on earth without having been chosen to have that particular belief of yours challenged. Don't beg for that, you'll get what you wanted and then some.
I would welcome it. So far on my 39 years on this earth the amount of supernatural things I have seen or experienced is precisely zero. And I've tried looking, haunted houses, ouija boards, even a dumb Wicca ritual when I was a teenager.

As far as I can tell, reality is extremely boring with absolutely zero evidence of any kind indicating anything remotely interesting like demons, ghosts, goblins, or any other such phenomena existing. Which is frankly far more terrifying than any myths about demons, it turns out the universe doesn't care about us humans at all.

If you've determined you're an empty vessel which gets deleted permanently after your passing then you'll probably have your wish granted (unknowable extent of divine fury), not even demons would bother giving you attention, what's the point. They're ultimately just part of a toolset meant to challenge, why challenge a tree in a forest?

Try praying to Jesus Christ and then go confess your sins to a Catholic priest.
I can guarantee that you will experience something supernatural.

I don't believe I'm an empty vessel, I know I'm sapient and cognisant, but I just believe all of that is done by biology, not some nebulous concept of a soul. I'm seen zero evidence to the contrary and whenever anyone tells me I need faith then I simply point out faith in what? What makes one belief system more likely than another? If you want to believe in things that have the same amount of evidence supporting them as Santa Claus, you are free to go right ahead, I certainly won't stop you.

No thanks, I tried many different Christian denominations in my youth, I certainly never felt anything supernatural other than a sense of community, which hardly requires religion, I felt that in my local sports team as well.

Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones. - Marcus Aurelius

That's enough for me.

This is cringe, eat your vegetables and listen to what the Catholic guy told you.

Religious proselytization

There is no such thing as "christian denominations".
There is only the Church of Jesus Christ which is the Roman Catholic Church.
If you have not received the Sacraments, the spiritual life has not started yet.

This not the place to preach but for those interested, I recommend going to the Latin Mass and to a traditional Catholic parish.
Plenty of them in the US
