I've been listening to a lot of Run-DMC, Beastie Boys and a little Sugarhill Gang, and I have a craving for more.

The above three are the groups I listen to the most as far as rap/hiphop goes. Is there anything newer out there that would remind me of the three?

Oh yeah, Del is always on regular rotation too.

Eric B. and Rakim, "Paid In Full" if you don't have it for old school.

As for new stuff-

just get jurassic 5 - quality control and their self-titled album... haven't tried power in numbers, but I do like their 2003 release, pre-historik rarities, although I've never seen anybody talk about it.

Power in Numbers is their best album. Don't know how you could skip over that one.

Don't get the Sole album or you'll never want to listen to hip-hop again. :)

Check out Ugly Duckling, People Under the Stairs, Madvillian, the first three De La Soul albums, the first three A Tribe called quest albums, Common's "Resurrection", J-Zone's "Pimps Don't Pay Taxes" and Black Sheep's "A Wolf in Sheeps Clothing" for starters.

I was expecting shitty recommendations from you after your first comment. Even though I was wrong I will still call you stupid.
