Just curious, I like to know what others are feeling. Doesn't have to be what you think are the five BEST of all time. Just the 5 that mean the most to you, and why.

When I got my first CD player, I also got Eminems first CD. Listened to it through and through and really loved it.

My cousin let me borrow some Jurrasic 5 and Gangstar, and thought it was incredible. Much different then the generic hip hop you hear.

My sister got me into Kool Kieth and all derevations thereof. Very talented. She also got me into Aesop Rock, which I would probably put on the list too, but I havent heard enough Aesop to put on the list. I put Nas cause I like them and saw them at Bumbershoot. :)

Maybe I'm a lil' old school and.. white, but for me nothing sounds as good as the Beastie Boys.

Sure, I like a really good verse by Pharoah Monch or even TIP (and I really dig The Prunes of the JSRF soundtrack) but at any given time, I am 80% more likely to bust out "Johny Ryall" from Paul's Boutique and force people to inquire if I know what year it is.

Just listen to to Set It Off and Ain't No Half Steppin. Fifteen years later, those lyrics still haven't been touched. Louis Ave represent. Be sleepin on your rhymes til I start to snore.

Black Moon -- Enta tha Stage
Well basically I smoked a lot of blunts to this album. Also Who Got Da Props had everyone open. One of the best debuts of all time, and Buck's freestyles on Red Alert's show busted EVERYBODY up. Plus he represents FAP so act like you want it.

Tribe Called Quest -- Low End Theory
Not much to say except that it's simply one of the best of all time.

Common Sense (when he was Common Sense) -- Resurrection
Rhymes uglier than Craig Mack. His flow still needed work, and No ID's pops bought his beats, but still.

Also, I always prefered Leaders of the New School's second album, The Inner Mind's Eye, to the first.
