The Russians are clearly tired after their tour so far, but the WHL stars are just fucking dominating this game. Myer's goal was probably the nicest goal of the year so far at any level... not that I've seen many other games or highlights even.

:lol what is it with you and Stajan. That's like a Flames fan having a constant woody about Matthew Lombardi, or a Nucks fan going on and on about Jason King.

Leaf fans *should* be drooling about Steen. In 5-10 years when Stajan is either traded or a 2/3 line guy you'll be wearing your Steen jersey's and talking about how he's been the teams MVP for years now. ;)

The second the Leafs drafted Steen I admitted to myself that one day I'd have to cheer for the bastards, at least a little bit. Maybe JFJ will have a stroke and trade him or something.

While I'm scouring my hdd, anyone remember that clip of those guys on the bench (kevin stevens and a few pens I think) mocking somebody (a North Star or Whaler maybe)? Where the hell did I stick all my sports clips.

Actually, I'm just bitter because I probably won't be able to watch them make it to the playoffs, then fail miserably this year, heh.

In all seriousness, I really do miss hockey. This is my second year in university and I'm living in an apartment with 3 of my friends. We decided not to get cable, because one, we don't have the time and two, it's a waste of money. Unfortunately, we were still kind of hoping that we'd be able to have a few beers every saturday night and watch a game or two. Oh well.
