I took my Grim Fandango game home with me to replay over the holidays and when I checked my luggage, the CD got broken en route!

I also figured I'd try to play through Neverwinter Nights on my laptop, since I never completed it (my computer at the time was a bit slow). Unfortunately, I forgot Disc One at home!

At least I had my DS with me...

There are other ways to play Grim Fandango... Ebay should be kind to you, for one.

But I feel your pain. It is always a sad moment when a great game (especially one that you adore highly) finds an end. NES did this with me often

Been meaning to play through GF again... it would be a lot easier if there were a MAC version (I don't feel like running it on V-PC). I'll see what I can find... unless someone tells me there IS a MAC version... then I go out and find it

No mac version, mr. Apple Jax. I've looked.

At least scummvm has my back for everything else. There was talk of them writing a new program just to interpret Grim Fandango on other machines like scummvm does, but it fell off, I guess.

My PC will have to suffice then.

Can't tell you how awesome it is to play games on a laptop in your bed. It's why I've logged so many hours on WoW (don't ask me how I pull it off... I just do).

That's almost as bad as what happened to me a few months ago. I went to play my Saturn, only to discover my only working controller (my analog stopped working long before that) had stopped working. Add to that, I know of NO PLACE I can get replacements.

I guess it could have been worse, but I was really looking forward to playing through those two games when I had all the time in the world...

I did clear just about everything in WarioWare Touched, made a ton of progress in Mr. Driller & got to the last dungeon in Final Fantasy I on the GBA though...


Now I am afraid to fire up my Saturn too!

You could just get an analog NiGHTS Saturn controller. Ebay HAS to have them...

You could just buy a NiGHTS game on EBAY and get the controller with it... I bought mine for... gosh... $15?

Other than that... I am looking to sell all my Saturn stuff... just not a single controller
