Well, it looks like our good friend Jeremy "Toastyfrog" Parish has created a new monolith of a
feature over at 1UP. This time around he focuses on what is a sort of sequel of his old "Religion in Video Games" article that he created a few years ago for his personal website.
Let the wailing and gnashing of teeth commence.

Too bad he seemed to ignore the fact that the NES Castlevania games had the religious imagery intact... Castlevania 3 starts with Trever praying in a chapel, before a cross.

That is true, not to mention that the Dragon Warrior 1 alteration (graveyard crosses to Star of David did not rid the religious connotations, but instead just made the whole thing a bit more, well, grim.
